Burlington Community Land Trust to Hire Executive Director

The Burlington Community Land Trust is looking for an Executive Director to begin putting plans into action for developing affordable housing for low-income home buyers in the Morrow Town Community.  Shineece Sellars, chair of the Board of Directors, says the job posting is the culmination of much hard work and enthusiasm on the part of the board. “This is a key step for us, one we have been planning for as an organization to move us towards proving the model. We hope to have our new leader in place by the end of July.” 

According to Steve Matthews, vice-chair of the Board of Directors, the job posting is being widely disseminated to attract qualified candidates who are passionate about affordable housing and community development. “The ideal candidate would have experience in both areas,” said Matthews, and would be a great communicator and ambassador for Burlington Community Land Trust.”
